"Action" Jack's Outlook: The Wingers 6-19 record includes six losses by three points or less.  Red Wing won 64-59 at Austin back on December 30th.  Red Wing needs a good start on the road tonight.  Both teams are primarily perimeter shooting clubs.  Red Wing needs to rebound well and cut down on turnovers as well.

Boys Hockey:

The 66th Minnesota Boys State High School Hockey Tournament starts today and runs through Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  Breck and Minnetonka are the top seeds in Class A and AA.  I like Warroad in Class A however (Warroad won the girls Class A titile over Breck) but I'll stick with top seed Minnetonka in Class AA.

It'll never happen but I wish the MSHSL would have the  A and AA title games back to back on Saturday night.  The Class A teams that make it to the title game deserve to play in front of a packed house and in many instances they are just as good as the AA teams.
