Lake City 4 Rochester John Marshall 3-Lake City won all three doubles matches to edge the Rockets, including a three set win from the Tigers #3 doubles team of Brittany Hartke and Allison Harvey.

Church League Softball:

Lower Division Championship: Cross of Christ beat St. Paul's #2 15-9 to force a deciding game in the double-elimination format, then rallied for three runs after two were out in the top of the seventh inning for a 10-8 win in the second game to grab the lower divison title.

A crestfallen "Action" Jack Colwell, the catcher for St. Paul's #2,: "We were rusty in the first game, not having played in two weeks.  We played much better in game two but it just wasn't meant to be.  Thanks to all the guys, umps Dick Beetch and Kevin Frazier and commissioner Tim Schmitz for a fun year!"

Upper Division Championship: Immanuel held off a late rally to edge Apostolic 9-7 and won the upper division title by going undefeated through the playoffs.  Immanuel ended the year with an overall record of 16-2.
