Thursday Scores: Boys Basketball: Rushford-Peterson 61 Wabasha-Kellogg 50 Chatfield 53 Plainview-Elgin-Millville 51 Gilmanton 54 Pepin-Alma 36 Girls Basketball: Goodhue 78 Zumbrota-Mazeppa 73- The Wildcats edged the Cougars in a great game in Goodhue. Mikayla Miller had 25 points, Kali Ryan 18 and Mikayla Tipcke 16 for Goodhue. Amber jentsch had 27 points and Ashley Hinsch 21 for ZM. Goodhue is now 19-3 on the season. Amery 45 Ellsworth 32 Wrestling: Plainview-Elgin-Millville 46 Lake City 29 (Senior Night at Lake City) Byron 33 Zumbrota-Mazeppa 33 (Byron wins on citeria) Girls Hockey: Red Wing 9 New Prague 4- The Wingers Reagan Haley had four goals to lead Red Wing to the win. Paige haley had three goals and two assists. Cori Fairbanks had two goals and Nicole Schammel added four assists. Lisa Nibbe had 29 savesin the road win. Red Wing is now 16-7-1 on the season and 10-2 in the Missota Conference. The Section 1A playoff pairings come out this weekend and the Wingers are expected to be the top seed and get a first round bye. Boys Swimming & Diving: Red Wing 95 Northfield 82- The Wingers won 10 of the 12 events to finish undefeated in regular season dual meets for a second straight season. Sophomore Tanner Alms set a Northfield pool record with a time of 4:50.37 in the 500 freestyle. Friday High School Sports Schedule: Boys Hockey: Red Wing (9-8-1) at Crookston (6-15-1) 7:10pm pre-game 7;30pm face off on Bluff Country 1250 KCUE and on line at www.1250kcue.com with "Action" Jack Colwell. The Wingers northern excursion takes them to Crookston to face the Pirates at the new Crookston Sports Center. Saturday the Wingers face the Thief River Falls Prowlers (15-3-2 ranked #4 in Class A) at Ralph Engelstad Arena at 1pm with the pre-game show at 12:40pm on on KCUE. Boys Basketball: Farmington at Red Wing (5-12) 7:30pm- The Wingers look to break a five game losing streak. Pine Island at Lake City (10-8)- Lake City looks to break a four game losing streak. Zumbrota-Mazeppa at Goodhue (13-5) Triton at Kenyon-Wanamingo Durand at Ellsworth Plum City at St. Croix Central- Senior Chase Luebker of Plum City needs 20 points to reach 1000 for his high school career. Girls Basketball: Red Wing (14-5) at Farmington 7:30pm- The Wingers look to break a three game losing streak and are playing their first game since last Friday when they lost to Missota Conference leader Chanhassen. Lake City (7-11) at Pine Island (20-1) 7:15pm on Lake Hits 95 with Mark O'Connor- It's certainly a tall order for the Tigers on the road. Pine Island's only loss was a 40-32 setback at Goodhue on January 20th. Kenyon-Wanamingo at Triton Pepin-Alma at Melrose-Mindoro Gymnastics: Northfield at Red Wing 6:30pm
